Sperm freezing is a very useful tool and takes no longer than a few minutes. Once you leave a sample for us, we will perform an analysis and separate it into multiple vials for future use prior to freezing it.
Freezing sperm allows you to have sperm stored no matter what the future holds. Common reasons to freeze sperm include: planned use of anabolic steroids, men who will be out of town when their fertility treatment will require sperm for fertilization, men who plan to undergo surgery or medical therapy which may impact sperm quality, or women who are in the process of transitioning and desire to preserve their gametes for the future.
